Following the outstanding success of the 2011 race calendar, aaa-adventure is thrilled to introduce a new event to their agenda in 2012. The new event aptly entitled ‘Wild Warrior’ is shaping up to be a real survival of the fittest.

A physically and mentally challenging 10K multi terrain trail run designed to test every inch of you, your body, your fitness levels, take you out of your comfort zone and put you through your paces, and the mud of course.

Along the way, you will have to scramble cargo nets, tackle tunnels of terror, balance the beams, wade through swamps and slide at speed into raging rivers and masses of mud. Warning: Do not wear white because not even Persil will be pleased to tackle your kit after one of these races!

This is the 4th year aaa-adventure have hosted these events, with success growing year on year as returning entrants can’t get enough of the thrills experienced during the 10k challenges.

All events are conveniently located in the inspiring countryside of the East Midlands with fearless entrants coming from all over the UK to battle the best obstacles and push themselves to the limits.

Wild Thing 10k Adventure Challenge

Wild Thing Adventure Race, 10k Run, Assault Course, Mud and Water… An adrenaline fuelled 10k trail run featuring The Swamp of Doom, Tunnels of Terror and tones of obstacles. Are you tough enough for this extreme challenge?

Mens Health Adventure Race of the Year for 2011, the 10k Wild Thing Adventure Race will be a survival of the fittest, a physically and mentally challenging 10K cross country trail run designed to challenge every inch of you, take you out of your comfort zone and turn you into the hell runner you know you are.

If you are looking to escape the rat race and be a mad mud runner tackling the trail through the woods and climbing over obstacles, you can challenge the total warrior in you with obstacles like The Swamp of Doom, Giant Walls, Submerged Tunnels, Rope Swings, Scramble Nets, Balance Beams, Tunnels, Hurdles, Mud, Water and The Assault Course spread over the 10k run.

The Wild Thing 10k is located at Wild Park, an amazing location, set in a picturesque valley on the outskirts of the Peak District National Park. The area has undulating fields, wooded areas and plenty of water and mud to wade through. The location is perfect for a 10k trail run with the wooded area being an obstacle in itself!
