Superheroes 1k & 5k Run

Tuesday, April 2nd, 2019

The First Hero Series 5K & 1K Fun Run is to be run in the tranquil and stunning Avenham Park. This will be our second running/cycling/swimming event , why not check out our Facebook page to see our previous feedback https://www.facebook.com/challengerevents/. The course is a scenic and reasonably flat marshalled route which is perfect for all ability levels and for those PB Hunters.

As with all events that Our Local Heroes Foundation puts on there will be much more to see and do other than just the run. We actively encourage you to dress up as your favourite superhero 🙂

The event will also have music and medical cover for all eventualities.

The event will start near to the event registration at Avenham Park Pavillion.
Toilets are available close to the pavillion and there is parking available in many local areas close to the park.

What we do

The Stroke Association is a charity. We help survivors, their families and carers deal with the impact of stroke and fund research into the prevention and treatment of stroke. We believe that together we can conquer stroke.

How to fundraise

Your entry fee only covers the cost of running the event, it’s your sponsorship which will mean we can be there to support more people living with stroke.
